Riccardo Gulli

 

Biography

Riccardo Gulli teaches Technical Architecture at the University of Bologna. The main fields of research and didactic learning are focused in the sectors of historical construction techniques, of building refurbishment and architectural design. Scientific Responsible of the Research Institute LabTeco (Laboratory of design and technological experimentation of building heritage) of Bologna University. Member of the Scientific Committee of the 1st and 2nd International Congress on Construction History (Madrid 2003 and Cambridge 2006). Promoting and Scientific Responsible of the International Congress Theory and Practice of Construction. Knowledge, means, models (Ravenna 2005).
The scientific activity is testify by about fifty national and international publications of which it could be mentioned the following monographs: Bóvedas tabicadas. Architettura e Costruzione (CDP Editrice-Edilstampa, Roma 1995); Mètis e Téchne. Gli strumenti del progetto per la manutenzione e il recupero dell'edilizia storica (Edicom, Monfalcone 2000); La costruzione Coesiva. L’opera dei Guastavino nell’America di fine Ottocento (Marsilio, Venezia 2006).
